Honey and Lemon Works for me!

My skin is prone to acne. For you to know I have tried a lot of acne products and nothing works for me. I tried Pro-Active, Neutrogena products, Aveeno, you name it. In fact, those products makes my skin get more pimples. And since I dont sleep early due to our crazy schedule I dont wonder why my skin always get pimply. But to tell you, My skin gets better now when I started using Honey and Lemon mix together. I feels so soft and scars are getting lighter.

Actually, my skin regimen goes like this every morning and night. I wash my face with Up&UP facial scrub, then I dry my face. After that I put the Honey and Lemon that is mix together and leave it on my face for 15 minutes. Wash and dry and I use Clinique acne toner then my final touch is Olay moisturizing firm Cream.

Now, My face looks even better before. I had spent so much money buying acne products just to try which one will works for my skin. But I end up using cheap products that works wonder for my skin. Im so much happier than ever before.

You should try my beauty regimen. Nothing will hurt you. Maybe it will works for you too.

US Passport for my Baby..

It's my day off today and we had so much things going on earlier. We had to go to the post office to get the form for US passport application for Didi but we had to take her 2x2 US passport style picture at the CVS Store, 3 of the stores refused us to get her picture because of sme circusmtances like renovation, 1 person is working and no photo paper so we ended getting her picture at Wallgreens.Since we had to go several places because of the picture we missed the time or schedule of passport application at the post office. I got tired in and out the car and so the baby. So we slept for few hours when we got home.So hopefully tomorrow we can finally send the baby's US passport for our trip in February. By then everything is all set t go back home in Philippines.

I feel so happy today because my sister from the Philippines told me that my uncle's house has a box of gold under his house where he is currently living right now. She told me too that today my uncle will go to the City hall to get a permit to dig the area. The financier is American and I think this is true because of the high technology they have use to discover the gold through Satellite.

In that case, my uncle who is a single at the age of 56 he's gonna be rich in no time. Since my mom has a part of the soil where he live at, I'm pretty sure my mom can get a little share of it. But for me, It's OK we don't get anything of it as long as they have. My uncle have been working his entire life by himself and it's about time to taste the bliss of life, glory and happiness. I'm praying that this is really true. Im crossing my fingers.

I was kinda surprise today when I read the yahoo news that Amy Winehouse found dead in her London Apartment. Its really sad that she wasted her life for nothing. She is only 27 yrs. old and She was a very talented young lady but yet she was a drug addict. For you to know she won 2008 Grammy Awards in the categories of Record of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance for the single "Rehab", while her album Back to Black was nominated for Album of the Year and won the Best Pop Vocal Album award. She got all that but as I was saying she wasted her life in spite of her very successful career.

So people please stay away of drugs, drinking too much liquor, smoking cracks cause you'll never know what life brings you when you get in trouble might be in jail or you gonna be unhealthy for the rest of your life.

I never thought any primetime cartoon program could ever take the place of South Park. But I was wrong. Family Guy has supplanted The Simpsons as my favorite cartoon ever. I watch it religiously every Sunday on my tvbydirect.com. What I love about the show is the sheer ridiculousness of the show. The fact that the family dog, Brian, has the ability to speak does not seem to bother anyone. Even strangers seem to accept this in a matter of fact way. The baby, Stewie Griffin, is also highly intelligent for his age, yet no one outside of the dog seems to acknowledge this. I thought the show was at its best when Stewie was bent on world domination.

The other members of the Griffin include the father, Peter, mother, Lois, daughter, Meg and son Chris. Peter also fathered another son named Bertram through a mix up at the sperm bank, but he hasn't been heard from in years. Other noted characters including Peter's drinking partners Joe and Quagmire. The three are all neighbors on Spooner Street and many of the hijinks on the show begin with Joe, Brian, Peter and Quagmire coming up with something to do halfway into the show. Some of the more well-known plot lines include Stewie's relationships with Lois and Brian, Peter's mistreatment of his family members stemming from his selfishness and Meg's unpopularity with the rest of the world.

Were supposed to get a new car when we get our tax refund. Hubby already paid a down payment for Mazda Protege 5 but now he change his mind. Were just lucky that we can still get the money back in full even if the dealer hold it for more than a month now. Im just mad how my husband keep changing his mind and cant decide what he really wants. He told me he will be comfortable buying 2003-2006 Honda Civic but every time he sees a Mazda P5 he will tell he's in love with it again!

I was so excited last year when we went to visit my friend Anne in Dallas. Me and hubby just drove up there for 3 days. Wow time goes so fast. I just remember I had my baby in my tummy and now she is starting walking by herself. She grow up so fast and now I miss my tiny angel. All the sadness and homesickness really go away everytime Im with my angel. She is my life and I always tell her how much I love her.

Life is really amazing. I know you just reminiscing your past when you were a kid, playing in the front yard with other kids and now you wake up with your own kid. I love life and love my family so much. I just hope things will get better as she grows older. I hope one day we can get our own house so she can play in the front yard just like i used to do. Oh well I know God has its own plan for us so I will just wait for the right time.

Today me and hubby with the baby went to a lot of places, we had to run errands like getting groceries. But we went to the mall too to get a wii. Right now at this moment set up everything and he is actually playing the Super Mario. And we both decided to keep the wii since it can connect to WIFI. We can use it too as computer connected to our flat screen TV. I am so happy that it does that cause me and the baby can just go to youtube and watch music videos or news back home in Philippines.

Im just so happy that it start to work things out. I had bad times for few days and me and hubby fixed it up. So now life is going back to normal. I just hope those things came and happened will never come again. So we keep our life busy and still let keep each other know that we are still in love with each other.

Baby Di got lungs!!!

At last baby sleep well and I'm so happy today that Baby Didi went to sleep good last night and so did I. She went to sleep a 830pm last night and woke up at 12am to eat and slept almost 4hrs now and then I feed her. She wakes up sometimes but I'll just tap her in her leg and sing a Sarah Geronimo songs then she go back to sleep. All Sarah's songs are my lullabies for her. I love Sarah thats why. Maybe Baby Di loves Sarah too just like me. And I'm hoping that when she grow she will have a nice voice just like her father. I''l be so proud of her if she will sing in front of the people. Her dad is kinda shy to show his talent and I hope Didi will not. Just like me I did sing when I was in High school and in College. That's my talent too. But I'm just hoping If Didi will get our talent, so she can audition in American Idol. (lol) What a big dream for Baby Didi huh? Hehehehe..

Oh well, sometimes dreams do come true!!

Im so sad to look at my baby when shes hurting. I feel sorry for my daughter. My heart breaks every time she cries so hard. We went to the doctor this morning for her 2nd month check up and she got 5 vaccines today and got 3 shots. 3 vaccines were combined so she took only 3, at least not all 5! I knew she gonna have fever. The doctor told us that she might get fever so I'm preparing myself for that. And as soon as we got home she started being fuzzy, crying so hard. If only I could get those pain from her I would but what else I can do but to make her comfort and let her know that I'm just right and shes gonna be okay.

My husband doesn't really know to take care of a child so I have to take care of everything. I'm not complaining but I just wish that a family member of mine would be nice to be here. At least my mom or my sister would be a great help to me. But what else I can do maybe Ill just do my best to make everything okay.

So here I am right now trying to be strong, doing my job as mom as the best as I can.

Hollywood Sign

I'm so thankful that the Hollywood sign is no longer in danger. It was in danger because somebody bought the land and had a plan to take it off and make a mansion on it. But the people especially from the entertainment, celebrities and Playboy gave $900,000 for a donation to complete the $12.5m worth of the land, and so they can save the Hollywood sign. Today, the business has been closed and people in LA is happy to know that it's been saved. Now, I heard they are planning to do it as a recreation site. They said that they gonna develop more the place and so we can go and enjoy it.

Lakers Won

Me and hubby is not really into NBA. I am but only when my brothers are playing. But recently there was a big event here in Los Angeles because of LA Lakers won in basketball over Boston Celtics last Thursday. People here went crazy, as in crazy. There was a lot of people downtown at Staples Center watching the game and after the game some people made some trouble. Some destroyed the taxi cabs and other people's car. I understand they are happy about the game but it's not right to express your happiness by destroying other people's property.

Anyways, Tomorrow Monday morning there will be a parade. Before I was thinking I want to go to see Kobe Bryant but I heard there will be a half million of people will watch the parade so Id rather stay in the house and watch it Live on TV. Plus I have 3 month old baby and I dont want to take the risk to the point me and baby will get hurt. If I dont have he baby I will surely go together with some friends here in LA.

So since Lakers won I want to congratulate them fro the another championship.

Wow...Days go so fast. Its been awhile I was away from work for maternity leave. I had 6 weeks of leave and now I am taking another 6 weeks for baby bonding. And 3 weeks Ill go back to work. My baby is big now too and I still want to enjoy my time staying home with her. I want to be a full time mom and full time wife but I have to go to work to help hubby for financial things.

SO Ill be working 5-10pm while hubby is watching the baby and Im gonna watch the baby in day time. I hope things will work just fine. I just hope my baby will be a good baby while daddy is staying with her.

I had a crazy shopping for a couple of weeks. I went to Aeropostale and I found a Polo Shirt for women for only 2 for 15 bucks original price was 17.50 each. So I decided to get 2 and got 2 shirt for hubby. But I found 10 bucks off of coupon online if you buy 50 dollars. SO I printed it and returned all the stuff i bought and bought some more to make it 50 dollars all in all. So I went back yesterday when we went to the mall with friends. So I ended up paying only 45 bucks instead of 55 dollars!! But if you some up everything with original prices its gonna be 105 since each of the shirts originally 17.50 bucks! But sale end June 2. 2010!!Go to the store now!!

Memorial Day Event with friends..

Yesterday was a great day because me and my family went to our friends house. It was a Memorial Day and its good hubby was on his day off. So we went to our friend Ammie and Arnold for cookout but we ended up buying food at Vons. But We had fun because another friend came, so we talked a lot of stuff, talking about how life treating us. After eating and talking, we girls and babies decided to walked around the mall and it was really crazy because we never expected we gonna get something or buying a lot of stuff but paid only 7 bucks. Since its Memorial Day yesterday, all store had a Memorial Sale, in fact I bought 22 t-shirts for men and women for cheap as I said only 7 bucks all in all. The shirt was 10 bucks originally but it went down to 30 cents! I never think twice to grabbed whats left in the shelf I quickly grabbed everything and pay. Crazy huh? But it was a good deal though!

Woww!! My Lee Won!!

I was so happy to know that Lee won in American Idol season 9. I knew from the start that he got a talent, His voice is really amazing. Anyway, a friend of mine told he won, our show here in LA was late. My friend didnt mean to let me know who won cause she thought we watch it live since I just live in Los Angeles. But no big deal since Lee won if not maybe I wont have appetite to watched the show anymore.

Im very very happy about the result, and I cant wait Lee will announce his new album. I will surely buy it since he is my favorite singer now. More blessings to you Lee, I know that you are a good person cause I can see it in your eyes that your sincere on what you are doing. You did a great job entertaining people like me. Gosh..I caught up shopping in couple of days and now I have lots of stuff to mail today since post office is not on the way to the mall. Since Im not driving and will never drive hehe..Its hard for me to drop by in the post office. So now I have to go to post office to mail all the stuff that people won from my auction in Listia. So me and baby will go out today again straight for 5 days!! Well, I start to enjoy life now that I have my little angel. Before I don't want to go out because I don't have somebody to walk with or talk with. Hubby is working all day so he cant really go with me somewhere. Plus he get bored so quick when we walk around the mall so might as well stay home. But now almost everyday we go out with the baby so I'm so happy to have her a new best buddy is always with me.

So that is my event for the day, go to post office and go to target for window shopping.

My very first Mother's Day to celebrate

I feel so happy every time I get a greeting from friends and family a Happy Mother's Day. It really feels great when somebody greets you. Now, I know how it feels like to be a real mom. And now I can tell how hard to be a mom just like my mom did when me and my siblings were still young. I salute my mom for nurturing us and my dad too of course for raising us in the right way. I am proud of my family. I'm just sad that every time there's occasion I cant be there to join them. But I'm still thankful I have internet and back home too so we communicate constantly and see them online.

My mom is the real hero and so my dad. I understand how they react when I made mistakes. And I'm so happy that no matter what I did wrong to them, they're still there for me. I want to say Mother's Day to you my dear Mother Alice L. Buca and to my sister-in-laws Cerrele Buca and Elisa Buca. I know You guys are doing a great job to your kids.

And also to my friends out there, to my aunts and cousins who got there own kids, neighbors and classmates, Happy Mother's Day. Kuddos to all MOMMIES!!

Oh I love Lee!! I never miss watching American Idol season 9 since the audition. For me, the auditions was one of the most fun to watch. You will laugh and cry on every auditions. And now the contest going on, I cant stop voting for Lee Dywyze. I love Lee because everytime he performs and sing he is sincere and his voice is really amazing. Now, I always ask hubby if we can go to Hollywood to watch American Idol final. Since only 30mins away from here in my place. Oh how I wish I could see Lee in person. Breakfast-Lunch-Dinner was Tuna Sandwhich!!

You heard me, I had a tuna sandwich last night and all day today. I was gonna go to 99c store to buy corn and lettuce but I got lazy until today. I was inspired to make one when I tasted a friend's home made tuna sandwich. I'm not really fan eating tuna sandwich but now I think I am with a new recipe. A friend of mine's recipe actually. and the recipes are:

*Tuna Fish

*Chopped onions

*Corn

*Lettuce

*Mayo

*Pepper

A little bit if salt

*and boiled eggs(smashed)

Its not a detailed recipe honestly. I just put the stuff together and make it on my own. So if you like eating new recipe of tun sandwich then try this one. I'm sure you will like it. This will not be my first but I think Ill make more in the future as my meals.

I Signed Up for TFC

The advertisement on TV made me to signed up the TFC. Hubby called our cable provider Time Warner to know how much for the TFC subscription and since it's just only 11.95 dollars a month, i go for it. Now since last night i feel so happy and very feel at home to watch the TV patrol news and other telenovelas from ABS-CBN.

I didnt regret my subscription for TFC, its really worth it. It made my homesick and depression go away. Im so happy to watch all my favorite prime time TV series from TFC.

San Diego Trip and Dodgers Stadium

I was so happy that finally we went to San Diego. Last Saturday, me and hubby decided to go with one of my friend Ate Mel. We saw lots of things in San Diego. We went to Seaport Village. Where you see the big ship and big statues. Nice sight seeing too for those who love to eat near ocean. They have lots of historical event written when you go walk through the ship.

And another one we went to Balboa Park. There was a lot of people and lots of museums. Of course you have to pay for the entrance fee before you enjoy it. And i finally met my friend Ruth in San Diego. Though it was a short time to talked with her, still we both happy to see each other. She had a work that time so we didnt really talk a lot of things.

And after our San Diego Trip, a friend of my husband invited us to watched baseball. We got so lucky cause we are in the nearest spot where you can see the players batting the ball. Whew!! Me and hubby did really enjoy that day, especially in baseball game. Darn!! Ramirez of Dodgers was great, 2 home runs!! Dodgers fans get home so happy.

Crisis in America

I can really tell that I'm affected with this financial crisis here in US. In fact, just last month i got more hours in my job. Mostly i can get at least 35hrs above in one week. But guess what happened? When they gave us the bad news about Lehman Brothers, my job almost drown too. From 35hrs, i only got 20 hrs now. From this week till next week. I dont know the next schedule yet since my company is the one making the said schedule.

Now I ended up having a straight 4 days off this week. That's very sad cause, im just wasting my time and my days doing nothing at all here at home. Im still trying to get other job but i dont know this will happen soon since most company and stores are closing and shutting down.

Im just hoping things will be better. I'm praying too that i can get another job to sustain my living. Though me and my hubby were not really hurting since his job is stable, Im just kinda sad or i could say im bored at home.

Oh well, i guess this is life. Sometimes there's up and down. I just wish that this coming next week will be OK for us.

Im so glad that peso now is up, everyday i always visit PNB site to check how much is the rate. And today its 43.75 pesos in a dollar. It's good because my family can get more compare to the past months ive been sending them money. I hope it will really go back to 50 atleast like last year. It would be nice if our family back home can get more even the food and stuff is getting higher and higher.
